How to Use the Proxy SwitchyOmega

Manage and switch between multiple proxies quickly & easily. Both available on Chrome and Firefox.

Install From the Chrome Web Store

Install Manually

  • Download from the GitHub

  • Change the file name from .crx to .zip

  • Open the Chrome extension page

  • Enable the developer mode

  • Drag file to the page

Proxy configure

Set the proxy

  • Choose the first Proxy profile
  • Fill the server and port with proxy_ip_or_domain and port
  • Click the Apply changes to save your configure

Set the Auto Switch

  • Choose the Auto Switch on the left side
  • Click the Add a rule list button and fill with the URL(https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gfwlist/gfwlist/master/gfwlist.txt)
  • Change the Rule list rules profile to proxy on the above Switch rules
  • Click the Apply changes to save your configure
  • Click the extension icon on the toolbar and choose the Auto Switch profile

Change the proxy

  • Click the extension icon and change it to any other profile
  • If you meet some failed resources warnings, you can also change those URL to use the proxy
